The Concordiensis’ ink-stained wrenches are hot on our trail…
This recently caught our eye:
… [The Office of Marketing and Communications']
major initiatives for this year are to elevate Union’s reputation through more aggressive public relations and marketing; develop a unified, compelling brand identity for the College; revamp Union’s website and build a true digital strategy for the College; and assist other departments and communicators across campus with their own messages and marketing efforts.
And then there is this from earlier in the month:
…The “Reboot” is all about a much more strategic and smarter use of digital spaces, whether it be union.edu or Facebook or say, podcasts, to showcase what makes Union special to prospective students, donors and other constituents, while giving the campus community access to the information it needs.”

Hey Ken (and the rest of the Reboot team), I thought you’d be interested in this unofficial iPhone app iSwat that an alum of Swarthmore (my old undergrad) put out:

Might be a guy to contact, given that Union and Swarthmore are about the same size and somewhat similar communities.
Please tell me that you are redoing the newspaper’s website as well, because it is just horrible. Swarthmore’s is damn nice.
Al: We are focused on union.edu, so no dice there Al.
Thanks Nic. Great, innovative use of an iPhone app!
