There is an exuberant spirit of creative adventurism clearly manifest in some folk’s proclivities to express their muse via webpage design (or redesign as the case may be).
“Let’s slather some blue over those buttons, dose liberally with Flash, and is it ever possible to have too many links?”
That sort of thing.
Far be it from me to ruthlessly stomp on initiative and self-expression (and heck, I’ve been known to color outside the lines from time-to-time myself) but the new union.edu will corral some of our resident creative-bulls-in-China shops.
In the end, it’s all about what is good for Union: An attractive, easy-to-navigate and professional-looking union.edu. The logo will be displayed consistently, the integrity of the code will be respected and the photos and other imagines will be crystalline sharp.
You can help: Please focus on what you do so well and let us do the same. And together we can form a more perfect union.edu.
Thank you!

fix the DNS, so that both http://www.union.edu and union.edu resolve to the home page!
Dave: Is that still a problem? I thought we fixed it. Will follow-up.
