Then there are the librarians (never forget the librarians) whose articulate and pithy Tweets can be found@SchafferLibrary.
@unionadmissions is elbowing in on the act as is@UnionLifeSafety. And I’d be remiss if I neglected to mention @UnionStuAct.
Finally, (drum roll please) the good folks over here at the Office of Marketing & Communications keep the home fires burning @UnionCollegeNY.
Okay, whom did I miss? “Allie Allie In Come Free!” (And please, don’t even get me started on Facebook.)
Union’s social media presence sprouts like mushrooms after a summer downpour. But I can’t help but wonder: Do so many sites risk cannibalizing the school’s brand and fragmenting our audiences? Or is it a case of the more channels, the more the opportunities for someone to unearth this hidden gem?
At the very least we should be talking with about ways we can collaborate. You self-annointed social media producers should expect a visit from one of us from out here in the burbs.
